Accelerated Flight Training
CFI Initial rating for  $6,175
at Friendly Fleming Field (KSGS) in Minnesota.  
Transient students can fly commercially into the Minneapolis International's airport (KMSP).  KSGS is just 10 minutes away.  

Our pass rate over the last twelve years is one of the highest in the country.

Flight Instructor Initial Training. (CFI)        


CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) course includes:
  • Up to 10 hours of flight training in a Piper Cherokee or Cessna 172 
  • Up to 25 hours One on One ground school. 
  • Pre-post flight briefing 
  • Single Engine plane for a 1.3hr check ride. 
  • CFI course study material will be mailed to you prior to your arrival.​

Cost $ 6,175+ Examiner's Fee 
​($6,175 payment minus deposit plus tax due on arrival)
  • Local FAA examiner's fee is extra ($850-$1150 check or cash). 
  • All arrangements for your check ride will be made for you.​

Requirements
  • Commercial Pilot license
  • Current Medical
  • Passed both the FIA and FOI written tests
  • ​$500 deposit needed to hold spot for Accelerated Program.


To Get Started:
  • Check Availability and book your training start date here.  $500 non-refundable deposit to hold your accelerated training start date.
  • Weekdays/weekends are available.
  • Plan on 7-10 days to be in the area.  Most people finish the training in 5 days, then 2 days of self study prior to the check ride.
  • Read through study course material that will be mailed to you.
  • Verify weather conditions with Air Trek North prior to your arrival.
  • Come to Fleming Field (KSGS)
  • ​Recommended hotels:  Microtel and Holiday Inn Express in Inver Grove Heights along with the Envision Hotel in South St. Paul

Note:  Additional training if needed is charged at $175/hr for airplane time, $120/hr for instructor time.
